Welcome to my site for Keri Russell
When the buzz began building in the sumer of 1998 about a new show on the WB network called Felicity, word was that it was "Ally McBeal in college." The actress chosen to play the part, Keri Russell, became that year's It Girl, the center of a publicity firestorm for the WB series. It became a turning point in her career, mirroring the life-altering decision made by the character herself.
Keri's credits prior to Felicity were typical for a young Hollywood actress: three years spent as a Mouseketeer, then a series of TV guest spots and movies-of-the-week plus a starring turn in a short-lived Aaron Spelling series in 1996. In 1998, along came Felicity.
Keri seems quintessentially Californian, as if the most natural place in the world for her to be is walking on the beach at sunset or sitting quietly on some rocky outcrop listening to the surf, alone with her thoughts and at peace with the world.
How, then, will this California girl fare in the Big Apple? Will the experience change her? Probably. But for better or worse? Maybe neither. Or both. Perhaps she will simply learn and grow and become the person she was always going to be all along. I guess we'll just have to watch and find out.
Felicity is over now and Keri is moving onward. Hopefully, other fans will enjoy my little page and follow with me the career of this remarkable actress. Running Wilde episodes to air
The remaining four episodes from last fall's Running Wilde will be braodcast weekly starting Thursday April 28 at 10 pm on the FX cable network, according to this announcement from The Hollywood Reporter. - January 11, 2011
Casting news
According to this item in Variety, Keri has been cast in Goats. The independent production, also starring David Duchovny and Vera Farmiga, begins filming next month. - October 11, 2010
Leaves of Grass DVD release
Leaves of Grass, Keri's movie with Edward Norton from last year, is set for release on DVD tomorrow, 10/12. The film never got a theatrical release so take this opportunity to see it. Keri's performance is excellent. Don't miss the noodling! - September 12, 2010

Keri's new series picked up
It's official. Running Wilde (formerly titled Wilde Kingdom) has been picked up by Fox as a mid-season series for 2011. The network's proposed schedule, according to The Hollywood Reporter, has the show airing at 9:30 Tuesday nights out of lead-in American Idol. - March 14 , 2010
